My Email: Jonathan.McGregor.Bethel@gmail.com

My name is Jonathan McGregor Bethel. I am the founder of Omega Point Institute, and a writer, researcher and lecturer. Omega Point Institute is an on-line endeavor to analyze and disseminate the various strands of information that deal with the paradigm shift we are quickly approaching, and it deals with how this Eschaton, this Omega Point, is intertwined with our spiritual natures. Omega Point Institute is comprised of three domains:

http://www.omegapoint.org/

http://www.2012eschaton.com/

http://www.sacredwisdom.net/

I am a general seeker after truth, and I am open to whatever truth presents itself despite my personal wishes. I am also a writer for Oracle 20/20 magazine, which I have been writing for since June of 2005. My main areas of focus are Future Studies, The Technological Singularity, Human Potential, 2012 Eschatology, Earth Changes, Consciousness, Esotericism, Mystical Science, and the Awakening New Spiritual Paradigm.

I am also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason, Prince of the Royal Secret. I promise you the Freemasons have no nefarious goals of world domination, so please no hype and conspiracy theories sent to my email.

We all have something to add to the new humanity that is forming within the noosphere. We are quickly headed for an Omega Point of transcendence, “The Shift of the Ages,” the concrescence of novelty, and I think it is crucial that all the inhabitants of the planet come together in a cooperative effort to move through this transition in the spirit of love, for the collective hatred will only bring decimation.

I believe a new spirituality is dawning whereby the rules of rigid orthodox thought are giving way to a more all inclusive, ecumenical body of believers that realize there are many words for God in many cultures. Additionally, I believe this new spiritual paradigm has within it's designs a merging and true integration of science and spirituality.

The Internet is surely center stage in this transmutation that is upon us now, and I look forward to interacting with those that will help in bringing this “shift” about.

Peace and divine Blessings to all!!!

All my personal articles and my interview with R U Sirius are now posted on my blog:

An anomalous finding in the hills of Minnesota by a farmer in 1898, the Kensington Stone, suggests that Nordic voyagers, notably the Knights Templar, visited our land as far back as the 14th century. The probable factual evidence of this stone throws the continuity of American history into complete suspicion. It could very well be that the elevated ideology that makes our nation great found its way into the collective-psyche long before than what is presumed. The Kensington Stone was discovered face down tangled in the roots of a Poplar tree by Olaf Ohman in 1898. It is a grey stone measuring 13x16x6, weighing 200 pounds and is inscribed with rare runes that have been verified to be 14th century. These runes seem to tell the tale of the death of 10 men. However, some researchers of the stone seem to think that the inscribed runic story may hold some key to the reason for the stone's introduction into this region of the world. Some linguistic specialists have voiced their opposition to the stone's claimed authenticity, but experts in many diverse fields have arrived at the conclusion that the stone is real.

The Knights Templar and knights in general brought us the concept of chivalry whereby we treat our ladies with honor and meet the people we encounter with fair and equitable dealings. However, long gone are the days of honor where an agreed upon handshake rules fair proceedings, and we have now sank to the level of a litigious society where even our own family members may seem suspect, or so attorneys will have us believe. Where did all our trust and honor go? Some would say it was burned at the stake along with Jacques de Molay, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, by the corrupt King Phillip of France and the obliging Pope Clemente at the height of the notorious "Dark Ages" in 1314, when the Knights Templar were arrested and tried for trumped up charges of blasphemous crimes.

We all live and breathe in a layer of the planetary environment that has been carefully tuned by the earthly forces of Gaia to be supportive and conducive to life. However, this biosphere in which we are enmeshed is being ravished and decimated daily by man's destructive and grasping greed, especially by corporate conglomerates jockeying to please our whims and get the most for the least at no matter what the cost. Because of the false notion of "survival of the fittest", these institutions are committing untold devastation to the surface of our planet, and this destruction to our resources and habitat is taking our planet to the point of no return. Miles of the great rain forest, the lungs of our planet, are being leveled and progressively destroyed by the corporations that bring us the products we all use on a daily basis. This is the main source of the oxygen that we breathe to stay alive. And with reckless disregard we wander aimlessly into a future that looks rather bleak and dismal. It's as if we are in a state of catatonia and are oblivious to what is right before or eyes; can someone scream, "WAKE UP" before it is too late? I'm no fatalist, but sadly, it might already be too late. However, we don't have to accept this gift of our greedy and unconscious predecessors, but we, unfortunately, sure have to deal with it. Modern man will either come to his senses and rectify any travesties committed to the earth, or he will destroy his environment to such a degree that it will no longer support life, and he will soon perish. Those are the only options on the table; it is that simple; there are no other alternatives.

"God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them"

We were made in the image and similitude of God, but what does that mean, and why are so many people the complete opposite of God-like? The orthodox Judeo-Christian perspective is that we were created perfect by God as Adam and Eve, but we later fell into disorder and torment when we disobeyed and ate of the forbidden fruit, thereby causing a rift between us and God and banishing ourselves to a torturous life. Perhaps. But couldn't it also be that we are following out the carefully laid plans of the divine mind, evolving towards a preordained perfection? Yes indeed, you can feel the truth inside despite what the Roman Church put forth.

This is an article I wrote for JJ Haper's new book, "Science of Soul"

by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

It must be stated at the outset of this article that the expectation in 2012 of any singular event could very well lead to complete disappointment. None of us know for certain what will happen in the years to come, especially the specific date of 12-21-2012, as the future is yet to occur. I try to approach this great mystery of 2012 with an open yet discriminating mind, open to possible scenarios yet discriminating and requiring evidence. That being said, it is obvious that right now is a time of radical transformation, and society is subconsciously gearing up for a “Shift of the Ages,” a moment when the Zeitgeist, the spirit of our time, shifts to a higher pattern. Many are coming forward to proclaim "The End of the World," and they point to the Maya themselves as stating the end is coming. But the fact remains that the Maya encoded the ending of one 13baktun calendar cycle and a new beginning, what they called “Creation Day.” This is not the “End of the World” being solicited in the main stream media, a guarantee that doom, tumultuous changes, and a turmoil ridden future lies ahead; they are using the tried and true application of fear to make money, and it is very reasonable that this fear is in place, for events could be very dire, yet we have to approach this moment in history with the poise and watchfulness of the spiritual warrior.

Although mankind has traversed the evolutionary gap between the savage rain forest and the modern civilized city, it now sits in a very alarming situation; it now faces a bifurcation point in the evolutionary path it has trod thus far. This unavoidable fork in the road will lead us either down the path of destruction and decimation, or we will be impelled down the evolutionary channels toward enlightenment and liberation, freeing ourselves from the entropic grip of materiality and the thralldom of our everyday world. This is a very novel predicament for humanity, one it has never seen before, a moment a planet brings forth only once in its’ lifetime. This razor's edge that we are teetering on is fast becoming a slippery slope, and the global operational systems are careening out of control. On the one hand, we have reached a monumental moment in which all indicators point to the fact that we are approaching a quantum leap in our evolutionary trek, a rapturous instant in which our species' evolution shifts to a higher, unimaginable level of functionality; however, on the other hand, the global situation looks very grim, and certain actualities could create a situation where our existential being is subjected to harsh realities, realities that are the consequence of what we started long ago in history. This situation is building up more and more pressure and is working its' way toward a breaking point. Because of humanity's selfish and disharmonious behavior, we have created a situation that looks fairly dire and dreadful for our species, yet the contradictory is also true; never before has the human race been so perfectly poised so as to initiate a whole series of evolutionary steps that could precede a Utopian civilization.

What is a soul? Most of us think we have one, but many of us consider it to be some sort of disembodied, ghostly spirit interpenetrating our body that takes in experience and is the basis for our behavior. Many of us also believe that our soul consists of archetypal perfection cast by the hands of a divine creator. This archetype of perfected man is the image of a being of light that we are all evolving towards while in our lower selves. The Kabbalists call this archetypal man the Adam Kadmon, and he is the source of the Judeo-Christian primitive couple of Adam and Eve. Yeshua Christos, Jesus, is a perfect reflection of this divine man, Adam Kadmon. Most religions, in fact, have some notion of the soul as a sentient being of ongoing evolution. Although, some aspects of Buddhism believe that all of life is impermanence, and the reservoir of our mind and personality merge back with the entirety upon death, and any carryover of individuality does not occur. However, Christians believe the soul is immortal and will be either rewarded with heaven or punished in hell after death based upon our actions in this world, a one shot deal with either everlasting bliss or eternal damnation as an outcome.

When we walk through the world and look around ourselves, we see turmoil surrounding us in many guises: disease, starvation, poverty, illiteracy, and so many others. Like the Buddha upon learning of sickness, old age, and death, we each hold the desire to rid the world of these travesties. Is there any one act above all others that will help bring aid and relief to this seemingly unending suffering? The kabbalistic mystics of the past utilized a philosophy of rectifying the world to its intended glory, bringing aid and relief to this state of disarray and inadequacy; they called this notion "Tikkun Olam," literally meaning "repairing the world."

How many of you got online today and interacted in a cybernetic way in some form or another, either by browsing the world-wide-web, checking email, chatting live with others on a chat program, or corresponding with others on an internet social network, like Myspace? If you did, then you were partaking of the awakening noosphere, the thought envelope surrounding the planet that is now coming to fruition. Transpersonal psychologists have known since CG Jung that individual man partakes of and gives back to a collective unconscious, a global, shared field of mind full of archetypes that impel us into certain behaviors and involve particular thought forms. An interface is now forming between this morphogenetic thought field, this collective unconscious, and the now burgeoning cyber-technological, globe-girding internet.

Among those who see possible radical evolutions in the near human future, there are those who view the coming changes as a big win for human engineering and there are those who see it as a gnosis, as the achievement of a sort of religious divinity. Like Daniel Pinchbeck in our last issue, Jonathan Bethel’s views fall within the latter category.

Jonathan Bethel is the Director of the Omega Point Institute, a futurist think tank, consciousness research group, center for spiritual studies, and singularity watch group that studies the relationship between human consciousness and the accelerating trends within science, technology and culture. In a word, Jonathan is a singularitarian. His shamanic name is Seshua.

The Number 23 - 2/23/2007

by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

www.jonathanbethel.com/

The number 23 has some very curious properties, properties that cause one to step back and say, “hmmm…isn't that strange,” thereby giving a glimpse into the synchronized structure of time and materiality. The temporal anomaly of this synchronistic 23 has been the subject of several notable authors, and it has undoubtedly shown its' realistic nature in my life going back to when I was 23. The questions that remains in my mind is…does this number have any real significance, or is it that reality is so malleable that it is aligning itself to my and a group of people's beliefs, much like the Law of Attraction of “The Secret” espouses? As you will see this number is an immense synchronicity in my own life, and it has definitely given me moments of pause and wonder. The creative minds of hollywood have now discovered this strange occurrence and have now made a blockbuster movie. The Director Joel Schumacher created the movie, “The Number 23,” staring Jim Carrey and Virginia Madsen. And although I have not yet seen the movie, I think their take on the 23 phenomena is that it is a bad thing. I will see it later today, 2-23, the day I was due to be born, precisely, Feb. 23. But nonetheless, I will leave it to you to give its' nature a quality. It has been both bad and good in my life.

Since the turn of the Millennium, it has become exceedingly apparent that higher awareness is unfolding among mankind, and we are becoming cognizant of an innate power that shapes the experiences we encounter. In fact, it is safe to say that many have transcended beyond a mere awareness of this power, and they are fast becoming master reality creators. This realization comes at the heels of a movement propelled by the world wide web and other advanced forms of media, specifically "Spiritual Cinema" with productions like "The Secret" and "What the Bleep Do We Know." "The Secret" is especially conducive for an awakening of this gnosis; it seems to resonate profoundly, as if some divine key within man is awakening an inner knowing.

The Mechanics of Manifestation - 10/2005
By Jonathan McGregor Bethel

Everyone has heard the cliché phrase, “you create your own reality,” but has anyone ever stopped to contemplate just how that process might work and how it could be true?
Sure, if we focus on something about ourselves long enough, we tend to harmonize with it and start imitating it in our lives, thereby becoming that thing. But in addition to that, I believe our subconscious mind is actually changing reality to our subconscious desires and aversions; our mind is syncing with quantum events and transforming the apparent random universe to our innate wishes and fears, thereby crystallizing reality into what is occurring within our own brain and subconscious mind.

The Tree of Life and String Theory

by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

The Kabbalistic Tree of Life is a speculative tool of exceedingly pertinent relevance to the nature of our reality and has been passed down to us from ancient, enlightened adepts of the past, master Kabbalists known as "Mekubals." This model of reality is invested with the knowledge of the specific way in which matter and energy come into existence, and it contains a map and diagram of the structure of the multiple-dimensionality of space-time, a structure that is strikingly similar to the theories of modern super-string theory. It is also an excellent map for describing and delineating the psychological makeup of man and the many levels of mind that comprise our being, stretching from the mind of God down to the individual human being. The ancients used the "Ot Chiim," the Tree of Life, to describe the process of creation and the immanence of the divinity within man. The tree made cognizant the processes whereby the Godhead limits itself and actualizes the material world, what is displayed on the Tree of Life as the bottom Sephira called Malcuth - "The Kingdom."

Zero Point Field & The Mind of God

By Jonathan McGregor Bethel

The structure of the universe is composed in such a way so as to form a finely tuned and conducive environment for the crystallization of sentient life. This is an extremely rare occurrence that cannot be easily dismissed as a product of random mutation. Any scientifically minded person will readily tell you that life in our universe is so improbable that it might as well be impossible, but the fact that I am here writing this article is proof we have overcome this immense improbability. So, is there a blueprint to our universe, and has this blueprint seeded our reality to bring us forth?

Indeed, there appears to be a wisdom and plan to space-time that has created a delicately harmonized environment, formulating the sustenance that all life needs; it is as if some field of intelligence has seeded and fabricated this rare set of circumstances out of the ether.

Synchronicity

By Jonathan McGregor Bethel

A synchronicity is a very poignant moment when our own thoughts and personal histories meld into the physical reality surrounding us, giving us a glimpse into the divine machine of sacred geometric gears that rule the crystallization of time and the material universe in which we are bound. We have all had moments when the uncanny occurs, a momentary happenstance mimicking a fresh thought we have just had, a statement that has just been made, or the simultaneous occurrence of two or more meaningful events. Such moments are a little wink from divinity letting us know that our world is far from the meaningless universe that reductionism has presupposed and that there is a point to even the most abstract of events that occur within our lives

The Pineal & 2012 - 10/2006
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."
Matt 6:22 KJV

If someone were to ask you where the “I” you realize about yourself is centered in your body, you would undoubtedly say behind your eyes. Well, that of course makes sense because our brain is in our head, and this is the place from where our mind looks out upon the world. However, esoteric thinkers have thought for a long time that the pineal gland has many mystical qualities and is the place where the “I AM” consciousness of our soul enters our body. Rene Descartes is the one who first called this gland the “Seat of the Soul,” but a general esoteric understanding of the head chakra being tied to divine wisdom goes back much further.

We Are The ETs - 8/2006
By Jonathan McGregor Bethel

“The Elohim(of genesis) said let us create man in our image. Male and female they created them.” Elohim is properly translated as “the gods.” The image of the gods? What could this possibly mean? It is believed that the first chapter of Genesis depicts the creation of the entire universe, as explicated by the Kabbalah, by the one true creator god. When finished, the universe was complete, with wild life and hunter-gather humans populating the earth. However, the second and third chapter represents a further evolution of what God had created by a forced progression of the humans on Earth by “the gods.” It is not a recap of the first chapter, as many orthodox Christians would have you ridiculously believe. It is a description of our further creation as modern civilized humanity by an extra-terrestrial race of advanced humans, an outside intervention in our evolution. They descended to our planet and created from the hunter-gather man roaming the Earth an entity in their own image, by placing their own DNA inside us, creating the known modern Homo Sapien Sapiens; they then, starting in 3000 B.C.E. focused on 6 key locations around the globe and taught mankind civilization and agriculture. And speaking of the Bible, who were the sons of God who found the daughters of men fair and bore the Nephilim by them? Sounds like an extra-terrestrial race to me! How could a numinous God mate with women? It would take physical beings to do that!

The Omega Point and 2012 - 9/2006
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel & David Healy

The universe has been complexifying and increasing in novelty since its birth, crystallizing into the culmination point and pinnacle of universal evolution. It started out with an explosion of pure energy, the Big Bang. Over long eons that energy coalesced into matter, and that matter brought forth the constituent molecules that formed life. Like a lens, this evolving life focused reflective consciousness within ourselves, compelling us to study ourselves and the world in which we live. This evolving process appears to be progressing at an exponential rate and is leading to a crown of perfection. This moment has been designated by some scientists and philosophers as the Omega Point.

We all operate under the aegis of different archetypes. Archetypes were first brought to light through the work of Carl Gustav Jung; they are inherited ideas, patterns, and modes of thought, and are initiated and have existence through the experience of the human race, and they form in the morphic field of the collective unconscious. They are represented in the mind by certain universal symbols and are observed in dreams, life, and myths. They basically, bring wisdom, understanding and modes of behavior into the hustle and bustle of the work-a-day world.

Gnosticism - 6/2006
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

First of all, let me say, this article is not intended to condemn modern Christianity at all or evoke the ire of any of its participants. However, it is my belief modern Christianity suffers, like all old schools of thought, from the accumulation of error, past misinterpretation, and the promulgation of dogma. We think the orthodox theology we have today is the exact theology that Jesus Christ, Yeshua Christos, intended. This is a mistake in my view! A magnificent find in 1947 brought to light the Gnosticism that was being taught in all secret inner orders of the Western esoteric tradition, the finding of the Nag Hammadi Library. For me, Gnosticism has brought me back to a religion that I thought was wrong and had done many wrongs to many primitive peoples.

Advent of the Singularity - 5/2006
By Jonathan McGregor Bethel

Humankind has developed to the point where its technological evolution is going to become autonomous and progress by its own directive, that is, our technological momentum is about to make the leap from a linear progression to an exponential, multiplicative progression in the blink of an eye! This “Event Horizon” is called a “Technological Singularity” because all mathematical models utilized to predict our technological development break down at this moment, and they cease to give us a clear picture of what might lie beyond it. This moment will herald the liberation of consciousness from its current confinement and imprisonment in human biology, allowing us to utilize immense computational capacity far beyond the biological brain and to interact directly with computer sentience.

Geometric Evolution - 4/2006
By Jonathan McGregor Bethel

The occurrence of life in this universe is extremely improbable; it is nearly impossible according to scientists, yet here we exist and thrive. Also, our universe was formed upon a template, or blueprint, of sacred geometric relationships that can be found in everything from the formation of microorganisms to the constitution and orbit of planets within our solar system, as if some type of higher order lies behind all the randomness and disorder we witness. Is the fact that we are here, and the acknowledgement of sacred geometric relationships, such as the Golden Mean Ratio, evidence of some form of intelligent designer? Or possibly, is our universe and its’ intricacies the result of cosmological evolution previous to our creation? These questions make for some very intriguing and awe inspiring contemplation of the universe and our place within it.

Alchemy & Eschatology - 3/2006
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

The Maya are not the only ones foretelling of humanity’s awakening and enlightenment in 2012. In fact, our awakening in 2012 is the real secret behind the western esoteric tradition, specifically alchemy. Alchemy basically delineates a process whereby something lesser is turned into something greater, the proverbial turning of lead into gold. The tradition of alchemy has shrouded three very enigmatic secrets about us and our universe, and it has revealed them only through careful decoding and analysis of its themes, stories, and monuments. The first secret is the transmutation of the lower self into the higher self through various introspective and integrative techniques. These techniques are very typical of the practices one would learn in many schools of meditation and esoteric sects; therefore, this secret can be gleaned from many of our schools of mysticism. The second is the transmutation of an external object or substance from one state to another. The turning of lead into gold is symbolic of this secret, and has only been alluded to in various esoteric teachings; consequently, it’s not all that widely known as an esoteric secret.

Mayan Creation Cycle - 1/2006
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

Lately, conversation has created considerable noise about the end-date of the Mayan calendar. These discussions usually range from ideas that the calendar means nothing at all – to talks about prophecies of doom and gloom, where the calendar portends the “End” of our world from a global cataclysm. While some sort of cataclysm cannot be ruled out, there is another interpretation, one based upon academic research, which we can draw upon during these times. This perspective claims that the Mayan calendar is actually mapping the embryogenesis of our innate spiritual selves. In other words, it is a map of the divine plan for humanity and its consequent illumination. Contrary to the typical foreboding perspectives usually cast on the Mayan calendar, the information now coming to light from the rigorous research of Dr. Carl J. Calleman, from Ian Xel Lungold, and from the creation cycle itself is of hope and optimism. According to Dr. Calleman, we are to evolve to the next stage of humanity, become enlightened, and achieve oneness with God. When this occurs globally in our species, it will be the end of the world as we know it; however, this is definitely not the “END” of the world in a final sense, only the world as we “know it.” Time will end, for we will move from a linear understanding of time and our localized place within the cosmos to a non-linear utilization of time and multi-dimensional operability.

Earth Changes, 2012 and Eschatology pt. 1 - 11/2005

Considering all the earthquakes, volcanic activity, and extreme weather we have been experiencing, it’s hard not to have apocalyptic thoughts and speculate that we may be approaching the end of time. It is very telling that many cultures have prophecies and calendars that focus on our current world age. These prophecies predict that our current time will be a period of great strife and transformation; they further predict this chaos will precede the creation of a new form of mankind.

Earth Changes, 2012 and Eschatology, pt 2 - 12/2005
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

It has become obvious that the world is in a state of extreme agitation and turmoil. It’s as if all the prophecies of old are manifesting before our very eyes, and the planet is building up to a crescendo of unbelievable proportions. An individual can actually sense and feel this tension within the world mounting towards some sort of climax. In a very holier-than-thou way, many doomsayers are pointing to the extreme weather, geological disasters, and geo-political turmoil we are having as evidence that this is the “End-Times.” Indeed, we could possibly be facing an “End-Times” scenario. Unfortunately, these doomsayers hope for and want this to be the end for all of us. They think this world is tainted and must be flushed, and they will then enter their heaven state with their chosen peers. They actually feel they are the rightful heirs to a new kingdom, and it is not reserved for anyone who doesn’t believe their way. It seems many of these individuals actually thrive on the negativity forming within our world, maintaining their perspectives that are based on scriptural evidence of their sacred books, whether it is the Bible, Torah, Koran, or other book. This won’t help us at all in the trying times ahead, and this is a very immature and egocentric perspective. Such is the nature of radical religious paradigms.

Advancing Toward Utopia or Dystopia? 9/2005
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

The entire human species is quickly approaching a quantum leap in our evolution. Every individual walking the face of the Earth is about to go through life changing events that will wake them up to a very strange new world. We are approaching a global rapture of unimaginable proportions, a translation into a higher dimension and a realization of a completely new paradigm.

Are we to witness the culmination point of human history? It appears as such, especially if we consider the fact that humans have made the evolutionary trek out of the jungle, built cities and populated them, manifesting a scientific and technological progress advancing toward exponential growth and a technological singularity. Furthermore, scientists have now witnessed many anomalies occurring in our solar system and in our sun. These anomalies are the signal that our universe is in the process of synergizing and sending out evolution altering energy. This energy will bring many biological changes, which result in a new form of consciousness. Our evolution is tied to processes going on in the cosmos, and they are causing this incredible transmutation and preparing us for the next step. The human species has been progressing forward for millions of years and only now do we have the omega point within our grasp. By serendipity, it appears that we were born at a very opportune time and are gifted to witness this global awakening.

Science of the Divine - 8/2005
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

During the second half of the twentieth century, science and spirituality began moving toward each other in perspective and sharing many of the same ideas. The battle between evolutionists and creationists was leading to the dawning of a new spirituality that utilized scientific fact. It was as if the logical side of humans, which had divorced itself from the intuitive and creative side during the birth of science, started recently allowing a deeper intuitive pattern to invade the space of logic and rationality. The mystic and the scientist were philosophically merging into one being. Could this be the long awaited dawn of the Age of Aquarius?... an age where thought and emotion are married together in a supreme act of symphony. It was a shift to a completely new paradigm of understanding about our reality and our place within it…..a new awakening…..a modern day Renaissance.

Ebb & Flow - The Fluctuating Trends of Habit and Novelty - 9/2003
by Jonathan McGregor Bethel

Ebb and Flow, the process of Tension and Release, is the binary modality that governs much of our life and our daily experience. This seemingly primal process can be seen in the formation of our universe at the big bang, the formation of a human from the climax of love-making, to the cycle of breath retention and release that keeps are body vitalized with oxygen. This primitive process is embedded in every aspect of our life and our cosmos, as a self-similar fractal comprised of a dual urge. One urge tends toward manifestation, action, and tension; simultaneously, it is mirrored by a similar urge to release, union, and dissolution.
